Prior to the meeting members of the public brought up concerns about;-
The cleanliness of the waiting room at the station
Paths to the station not being kept clear
The Green Paper on planning
and drainage channels at the sides of roads not being cleared properly

01/95 MATTERS
ARISING
There are no trees on the estate which can be used to replace the tree for JP
Anton Wagner which was damaged. Mr Parker will find a suitable tree.
Wayland prison are willing to renovate the village sign in return for a
donation to a nominated charity. They will require photos of the sign to work
from and the sign to be delivered to the prison. IT should be requested that JP/KU
the St Andrew’s Cross is painted white.
01/96 FINANCE MATTERS
The report showed that the council was on budget however it should be

from the Surveyors Allotment account but also that several large items were
still outstanding.

01/97 PLANNING MATTERS
Mrs Wilkins declared an interest
Erection of conservatory at Brambles Lyngate permit subject to conditions
Green Paper a lot of discussion took place about this and it was felt that the
Council should reply saying that it felt very strongly that rather than centralising
the function as the Green Paper was suggesting that more say should be given to Clerk
local people at the most local level. If things are allowed to continue in the way
that the Green paper suggests there is a very real danger that villages such as
Worstead would die.
01/98 JUBILEE
The population of Meeting Hill were thinking of planning a Jubilee celebration
but wanted to know whether they would clash with any other plans. At present the
only suggestion for a way in which the Parish could mark the Jubilee was by paying
for floodlights for the Parish Church. Mrs Hill was to be contacted regarding this. KU
01/99 BUS SHELTERS
Following more problems with youths using the old bus shelter it was decided to
demolish this. Mr Charman will organise this. RC
The Councillors felt that we should make an issue of the fact that the new bus
Shelter has been turned down. Mrs Wilkins will find out about appeals. CW
01/100 WORKSHOP RE
NORTH WALSHAM PLANNING STRATEGY
Mr Paterson attended this workshop and felt it was worth inviting Gary Alexander Clerk
from NNDC to address a future meeting.

CODE OF CONDUCT
A copy of the registration form for members interests had been received. This will Clerk

A copy of a letter to the Footpath officer had been sent. Upon inspection it was found
that the footpath in question was not within Worstead.
Norfolk Local Transport Plan Annual Forum no one to attend.

A cheque from Jarrolds had been received for sales of Worstead Woven £78.54
A inspection of playground equipment should be booked.
