FINANCE MATTERS It was proposed by Mr Parker and seconded by Mr Charman that £250 each is awarded to the Meeting Hill Club and Friends of Worstead School and that invoices up to the value of £250 are paid towards the pensioner’s celebrations. All agreed. The clerk should write to NNDC regarding
the invoice for the rat treatment. £70.50 has been received from Worstead
Woven sales. |

PLANNING MATTERS Mrs Wilkins declared an interest & left
the room. New applications Prior notification of intention to erect of two polytunnels at Lyngate Farm, Bengate support Installation of solar collectors at Ollands
Barn, Swan Yard, Worstead support Conversion of outbuildings to residential
accommodation at Holly Grove Barn, Lyngate, Mr Paterson
declared an interest & left the room support all proposed by J Parker
& seconded by Mr Charman. All agreed. |

The seat is expected to be ready early May. An inscription has been agreed for the plaque. Clerk to write to Mrs O’Connor. |

number of heavily laden scrap metal lorries have been passing through the
village lately. No one has any other information. Anyone who can supply
further information is asked to contact a councillor. |

Road more quotes will be need The
station is being vandalised if this continues the waiting room will be locked
and people may be left with a bus shelter style of waiting area. Clerk
to put an item in the Parish magazine about this and also write to the High
Schools in the area asking for help from pupils to track down culprits. Village sign it should be explained to
Wayland the amount of work needed and see if they are able to do it. If they
can Mr Parker will deliver the sign to them. Bus shelter base should be broken up &
put in Mr Paterson’s yard. A complaint had been received that notices
for meetings were not being displayed. The clerk gave notice that she would be
quitting at the end of July. Letter from licencing officer re New Inn
interest declared by Mr Uglow & Mrs Rance who left the room. No
objections. |
