01/58                MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS HELD 25th SEPTEMBER 2001

The minutes were accepted as a true record of the meetings & signed

                                by the Chairman.

01/59                MATTERS ARISING

Following objections from the public Mr Uglow agreed to go back to

the Parochial Church Council & discuss the size & wording of the plaque                KU

again. Unfortunately this will mean further delays.

The play ground still needs attention. The clerk needed to know how

much bark to order & when to have it delivered. Mr Uglow will discuss                 KU

this and either let her know or organise it.

01/60                FINANCE MATTERS

                                Finance Report

The finance report was studied and accepted.

Cheques had been received for the sale of Worstead Woven for £38

and £45. Mrs Gray also has £230 that she will let the clerk have to                   LG

bank.

Erection of a two-storey rear extension at Blyth Cottage Withergate Road.

The committee report showed that they were going to recommend refusal

of the plans.

Notice of decision

Erection of a two-storey extension, conservatory and detached double garage

at Ivy Cottage, Dilham Road, Worstead – permit subject to conditions.

Erection of bus shelter at site at Church Plain, Worstead - refuse to permit.

Councillors were very upset about this decision and the clerk was asked to

put a letter in the Parish Magazine informing Parishioners of this decision

and also to write to the planners about this.

.

This needs moving forward. Councillors decided on a wooden bench.                                                                    KU

Mr Uglow will ask Broadland Garden Furniture to quote for this as

                                well as the Churchyard Gates.

01/63                                PUBLIC TOILETS

The pub did not wish to be involved in any way in the provision of

Public toilets. The position against the Church wall was not a

                                possible site.

01/64                                TRANSPORT & TRAFFIC

The Bittern Line had raised the question of who was looking after the baskets

at the station. No one had been paid to care for them this summer but

something needed to be resolved for next year. The clerk would put this

                                in the Parish magazine.

Mr Wilkins informed us that the Bittern Line are hoping to run an

hourly service shortly and that Worstead will be a request stop for any trains

which are not timetabled to stop there.
