FUNDING:
Cllr. Barrett had spoken to Sonia Schute who has given information about other grants like Changing spaces (Lottery funded) for playgrounds etc. She has promised to help Cllr. Barrett to complete the forms. Recommendation: Cllr. Barrett to get in touch with S. Schute to get the funding moving again. Cllr. O’Hara suggested to approach the Worstead Festival Committee, who have now paid their last grant to the Church, to make some commitment for the next five to ten years to the village itself. This may be an incentive for more people to come forward as helpers for the Festival. Grants from for example NRCC’s Grant Finder, Norfolk Community Foundation and Waste Recycling Environmental Ltd would still be applied for. Recommendation: to ask the Festival Committee to make a commitment and seek funding from other institution
