MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF WORSTEAD PARISH HELD ON 26 MAY 2009 IN THE QUEEN ELIZABETH HALL

PRESENT: Cllrs. S. Henderson, S. Harris, J. Lowe, R. Barrett, S. Cole, G. Paterson.

APOLOGIES: Cllrs. M. Carlos (holiday), S. West (ill), K. O’Hara

ALSO PRESENT: 9 Members of the Public, District Cllr. Wilkins.

09/AMC01	ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN: Chairman Henderson stood down as Chairman. He was nominated by Cllr. Cole to stand again as Chairman. The nomination was seconded by Cllr. Barrett, all agreed. Cllr. Henderson agreed to chair the meetings for another year.	ACTION BY
09/AMC02	ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN: This took place after the public participation to allow the public to leave, if they so wished. Cllr. Cole proposed that the current Vice-Chairman, Cllr. Barrett, stand again, seconded by Cllr. Lowe, all agreed. Vice-Chairman Barrett accepted this position.
09/AMC03	ELECTION OF SUBCOMMITTEES: This took place at the end of the monthly meeting: Planning: Cllrs. Harris, Barrett, Paterson and West. Leisure & Recreation: Cllrs. Lowe, Barrett and West. Highways: Cllr. Lowe Queen Elizabeth Hall representative: Cllr. Harris Quality Council: Chairman Henderson, Cllrs. Cole and Barrett. Cllrs. O’Hara and Carlos will be asked to consider their options.
