PCSO WIBBERLEY:
PCSO Wibberley’s report since 22 July: children on the roof of the tents during the Festival, 1 fight, 2 noise reports, 1 drink driving, 1 anti social behaviour, 1 domestic, 1 assault, 1 RTA, 2 loose horses and a complaint about vegetables being tempered with. The overall feeling was that the summer holidays have been relatively quiet.
Speeding in Briggate: our PCSO will try and do some checks in Briggate, but has to rely on the availability of the speed gun.
Meeting Hill: one parishioner complained that a skip company is indifferent to the speed limits and width of the streets, the culvert has been damaged again.
BRIGGATE MILL: The Briggate Association is still awaiting the result of the outcome to turn Briggate Mill into a village green, there are 3 villages in front. The Parish Council sent a supporting letter, but no further action is required at present. N. Lamb MP has written a letter to the Land Registry (attached with this, received 3 September 08). North Walsham and Dilham Canal Trust is clearing Mill pond and some dangerous trees may be felled.

DISTRICT/ COUNTY COUNCILLOR
District Cllr. Wilkins: Boundary Committee: the review is a result of the unitary bid by Norwich City Council. Mrs. Wilkins is concerned about the size of the reviewed areas, rural areas may be disadvantaged. There may a democratic deficit, as elected members have to look after 9,000 electors (at present 2,000).
LDF: will come into effect on 25 September 2008.
Ecotown at RAF Coltishall: it has now been established that there is heritage on the site and should be preserved.
She asked about the panels near 47 Woodview, these will be installed by the Unpaid Voluntary Works Unit.
