The minutes were approved by the Council and signed by the Chairman.

Mother & Toddler Group
Equipment
The clerk was informed that the equipment was given to the nursery class
at the school. The clerk was asked to find the letter asking for the equipment clerk
and check what the donation was supposed to buy. She should then write to
the school asking them to confirm that they have the equipment.
The report showed an overspend. One of the main areas causing this was the
upkeep of the Graveyard & Churchyard. Councillors will need to spend less
or use more money from the Surveyors Allotment account. It was proposed by
Mr Charman and seconded by Mr Paterson that the cost of grass cutting for
For the current burial ground be split 70% from the Surveyors Allotment account
and 30% from the current account. 3 for 2 abstained. Carried.

Requests for donations were turned down from WRVS & Council for the
Protection of Rural England
Income of £282 had been received.
It is being sold in a few local outlets eg. the pub but further places need to be
found. It is also going to be sold via the website.
The Auditors had noted several minor points. Action would be taken
to rectify these.
Mrs Fairhurst will look at the Audit Connission Consultation paper
and will report back to Council. VF
00/44 LAND AT WOODVIEW
Mr Uglow will make enquiries about the current location of the benches which
used to be in the churchyard. It may be possible, with the appropriate consent KU
to relocate these for use in this area.

GATES
The clerk had no response to her letter to Mr Kettel. It will be necessary to
start the process all over again. She will attempt to get the drawings back so
that we can start the tender process again. clerk

& TRAFFIC
A letter had been received from Tunstead Parish Council asking for support
against the increase in sugar beet deliveries however the Chairman stated that
this was no longer an issue. The clerk should reply accordingly. Clerk

A notice had been received to remind people to complete the Register of Electors form.
Scout Camp 25 – 28 May 2001
The village hall is to be the venue for a District scout camp on these dates. The Council
is very pleased that the Parish has been chosen and will be happy to help in any way it can.
The football club wish to apply to the Playing Fields Association for a grant towards the
new goal posts. This has to be done by the Parish Council. Mr Uglow offered to
complete the form. All agreed.

A consultation document has been received about the application for Primary Care
Trust Status from Norwich City PCG & Norwich Community Health Partnership.

B Amies tree
It was agreed that Mr Jordan be asked to cut the grass in preparation for the bulb
planting and also that he build a protective fence around the tree. clerk
The clerk should agree the wording of a plaque with Mrs Amies and Mr Paterson
should let the clerk know the wording for a plaque in memory of Mr Wagner
that she can arrange to have the plaques made. The clerk should also find out about
a replacement tree in memory of Mr Wagner.
