99/109 CORRESPONDENCE
A letter had been received from North Walsham Swimming Pool Fund Association
asking that we write to the District Council expressing our support for the scheme.
As it was too late to get the letter to them Mr Wilkins (District Councillor) was asked
to express our support verbally.
Mrs Rance gave a report of the sub-committee.
The first suggestion was that it be called a flower festival and that emphasis should be
put on involving as much of the village as possible. Meeting Hill have already expressed
an interest and the committee have thought of approaching Briggate residents.
Mrs Gray was organising some information and it was also hoped to get an article in the
April Parish magazine and also the North Norfolk News.
The categories suggested are Garden, Containers & Children with only one entry per
category per household although an exception to this will probably be Children to allow each
child to enter if they wish.
The school is also being approached for help.
Mr Le Grice will be asked to judge and sponsorship sought from local businesses.
Father Anthony will be asked to write the certificates again and it is hoped to be able
To offer 1st 2nd & 3rd prizes for each category
