MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF WORSTEAD PARISH HELD ON 27 MAY 2008 IN THE QUEEN ELIZABETH HALL

Present:: Cllrs. S. Henderson K. O’Hara, R.Barrett, S. Cole.

Apologies: Cllrs. G. Paterson (previous engagement), M. Carlos (holiday), S. West, S. Harris (both work commitments), L. Lattimer

Also present: 1 Member of the Public.

	Chairman Henderson stood down and informed the Councillors present that he would need to stand down as Chairman, due to work pressure. Vice Chairman took over to elect a Chairman for this meeting.	ACTION BY
08/AMC01	ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN: Vice Chairman barrett proposed that Cllr. Henderson would be Chairman for this meeting only, seconded by Cllr. Cole. Cllr. Henderson accepted that he would be Chairman for this meeting only. This item will be placed on next month’s agenda, please make your consideration before the meeting.	All Cllrs.
08/AMC02	ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN: This has been postponed until the next meeting.
08/AMC03	ELECTION OF SUBCOMMITTEES: This was equally postponed, please make your choice before the meeting: Planning, Leisure & Recreation, Highways and Queen Elizabeth Hall. Suggestions for other sub-committees can be made at June’s meeting.
