Director Notes:
We have named this challenge after Charlotte Robinson, one of our founder members who died this summer; this challenge is attempting to capture some of her fantastic community spirit.
I have been thinking of doing something like this for a while and suddenly the time just seemed right. After struggling to comes to term with Charlottes death I feel desperately in need of producing some laughter and fun, I think she would have loved a project like this, I am really aware of her energy and spirit as I plan this project and it is this I aim to try and capture for the participants of the challenge.

I think of the weekend and I get really excited, it should be a great fusion of local interest, talent, joy and hard work. I can’t wait to get started and I hope that the experience is a fun and worthwhile challenge for all those involved. Participants should be prepared to work hard and to work together in a team; otherwise it couldn’t possibly come together.
The weekend can’t go ahead without good organisation and we are lucky in Worstead to have very experienced talented and keen people to put an event like this on. The idea has been met with enthusiasm and people have immediately got to work in preparation for it, even though there is less than 2 months to go.

If this is a success there is no reason why we can’t have other similar “Charlottes Challenges” in the future, allowing Charlotte to continue to be a part of us in the Theatre Group.

Get active! Get involved! Get laughing!
